Frank 'The Ghost' Martin Triumphs Over Artem Harutyunyan in WBC Lightweight Title Eliminator

Saturday night at the Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas was electrifying as Frank "The Ghost" Martin (18-0, 12 KOs), the undefeated WBC #6, clinched a twelve-round unanimous victory in the WBC lightweight eliminator against the previously unbeaten WBC #8 and Olympic bronze medalist Artem Harutyunyan (12-1, 7 KOs). Many rounds of this boxing championship were evenly matched. Martin, however, dominated round six and finished off the match in style by compelling Harutyunyan to kneel in the twelfth round. The final scores stood at 114-113, 115-112, 115-112.

In a show of remarkable strength, IBF #13 super lightweight Elvis Rodriguez (15-1-1, 13 KOs) dismantled and defeated former world champ Viktor Postol (31-5, 12 KOs) in the seventh round. Rodriguez knocked down Postol at the conclusion of round six and commenced the seventh with a devastating onslaught that rocked Postol, prompting the referee to halt the fight. The stoppage time was recorded at 23 seconds.

In another thrilling matchup, welterweight contender Freudis Rojas (11-0, 11 KOs) outmatched Diego Sanchez (19-3, 16 KOs) in the seventh round of a scheduled 10-round match. Rojas controlled the bout from the start, leading to Sanchez's corner pleading for a stoppage from referee Tony Weeks. The match was halted at the 58-second mark.
